Our Services

The Framery has over 3000 mouldings to choose from, in a well-lit and very comfortable frameshop setting! We offer a vast and diverse selection of mouldings featuring solid hardwoods, metals, european-imports, sterling silver/gold leaf as well as moulding from local vendors.

The Framery purchases our numerous wood mouldings from vendors nationwide and internationally. However, here at The Framery we understand the importance of supporting local businesses. We make it a priority to strengthen the local economy by purchasing all of our other framing materials such as matboard,foamboard,glass, hardware, and numerous other materials exclusively from a family-owned, Pittsburgh based business. We are part of the community, and we want to show our support for that community wherever we can.  

The Framery also works with local custom guilders.

The Framery is now doing something to help preserve the beauty of our planet, too, by offering a line of eco-friendly framing products. The products have been carefully designed and engineered to have the smallest "footprint" possible on the environment. Made from such things as reforested wood; tree-free bamboo; and organic, water-based stains; the frames are as beautiful as they are responsible.

The framing product line is called Ecocare. It strikes an interesting balance. It gives consumers the eco-friendly option they're looking for, but in a variety of styles and colors that suit most any decor.
